Novacart, sponsor at World Pastry Stars, awards Pansa Pastry shop from Amalfi

The sixth edition of World Pastry Stars (WPS) was again a success. The congress dedicated to the world of pastry annually gathers national and international masters of confectionery to discuss about tradition and innovation in the sector.
Over 900 registered participants, many world-famous speakers, three award categories, laboratories organized by great masters, over 500 posts shared on social media: these are only some of the numbers of the sixth edition of World Pastry Stars.
The event, organized by Italian Gourmet, under the patronage and in collaboration with Accademia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani e Relais Dessert, took place on May 20-21, 2019 at prestigious Milan Marriott Hotel in Milan, Italy, with Novacart among the sponsors.
And it was in fact Novacart that gave a star of recognition to the Pansa brothers, owners of Pansa Pastry Shop in Amalfi, who thus gained the second place as best digital communicators, thanks to their e-shop and their careful communicative strategy.

The first place was reserved to Pierre Hermé, who has revived the macaron with his innovative communication methods. For the under 35 pastry chef category Pierluigi Sapiente from Bologna was awarded, while for the best woman pastry chef category the first place was assigned to Sara Bruno from Pappa Reale pastry shop in Bologna.
But the real winner of this edition was Iginio Massari, patron of the event, who received the grand prize as best chef in the world for “tenaciously pursuing the path of absolute quality over the years”.
"With amazement and pleasure, I receive a recognition that first of all rewards the professionalism and dedication I have had for this profession for years - said Massari - a profession that every day involves new studies and that still does not allow me to feel arrived today".
The topics coverd during the congress were many: from "First Observatory on Pastries by Italian Gourmet and Marketing & Trade", produced in collaboration with Mimesi and AMPI, to the topics presented by the Pastry Stars, including raw materials, sales format, value of craftsmanship, product innovation, luxury confectionery, experimentation and a deep connection with the territory.
Novacart, as main sponsor of the event, supplied the materials used by the participants and for the preparation of the event. Furthermore, each participant to the congress received a package of Novacart Easy Bake cups as a gift.
The event offered the company the chance to consolidate its relationship with commercial partners and spread awareness on the quality of its products in an international context.
