Pecan Pie for Thanksgiving: the complete recipe

Ingredients:
- 10 oz of shortcrust pastry
- 1 egg
- 2 oz of maple syrup
- 1.5 oz of brown sugar
- 1 oz of butter
- 2 oz of chopped pecans
- 2 oz of whole pecans

Preparation:
- Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees. Roll out the shortcrust pastry on a floured pastry board, then place it in the cake mold.
- Prepare the filling. Mix the maple syrup and brown sugar. Add the egg and melted butter. Stir until you get a cream. Also combine the chopped pecans and keep stirring.
- When the cream is well blended, pour it over the shortcrust pastry base. Decorate the surface with whole pecans.
- Bake the cake in a static oven for 50 minutes. Remove the pecan pie from the oven and let it cool before serving.
